This Day in Gaming, September 18th

1999: Ubisoft releases Prince of Persia 3D for PC in the US. I love the tagline: "Grab your sword and prepare for the greatest adventure of 1999." Is that what Prince meant when he said party like it's 1999? It all makes sense now.

2000: Hasbro releases NickToons Racing for PC in the US. We only print this because we know everyone out there is a huge Nicktoons Racing fan. Right? I don't mean to pigeonhole the game, but if it were WB or even Disney racing, I would be a little more excited. Mickey drives dirty.

2003: Capcom releases Maximo vs. Army of Zin for PS2 in Japan. It's a tough but fun action game...to the Max! What if Maximo were called Minimo? Would he have ended up a hero? Would he still have his own videogame and entourage of Seximo ladies?
