This Day in Gaming, October 20th

1994: Capcom releases Demon's Crest for SNES in the US. You are a red, swollen demon who has bad fire-breathe, and flies around to collect various crests. You are fearsome, evil...gum disease.

2003: LucasArts releases Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike for the GC in the US. When will LucasArts no longer be able to make original Star Wars trilogy games? Will the story ever die? Opinions?

2005: Nintendo releases Super Princess Peach for DS in Japan. The game focuses on the Princess's emotional powers, which some view at dated, patriarchal BS. We think the "that time of the month" attack was going a bit too far, but the "guilt trip for not taking out the garbage/sleeping with her friend" maneuver is spot on.
