1997: Eidos releases Fighting Force for the PS in the US. If it were released in 1990 in 2d, everyone would have freaked out, "This is the BEST game EVAR! We need more beat 'em ups!" Instead, it was labeled mediocre...correctly.
1999: Sony announces they have teamed up with Pizza Hut. When ordering a stuffed crust pizza, a free Playstation demo disk is packaged free. We like the idea of the stuffed crust, but that cheese is funky, isn't it? For some reason it is way different than the cheese on the pizza. The demo disk we could take or leave.
2003: Activision releases True Crime: Streets of L.A. for XBOX, PS2 and GC in the US. Because bullet time is the real deal - the way they do it on the streets, yo.
