2000: Sony releases the Playstation 2 console in Japan. With over 115 million units shipped, the system is a massive success—even outselling the original Playstation. While the console had a minimal appearance, its trademark blue LED was entrancing for its time. Oh yeah, and it pushed a lot of polygons, too.
So what is your favorite Playstation 2 moment/what is your favorite PS2 title? Playing SSX for the first time has to be up there in my book, despite it being far from the greatest game in the PS2's extensive library.
