This Day in Gaming, December 23rd

1994: NEC releases the PC-FX console in Japan. It looks like a PC with a console controller, and in this case, you can judge a book by its cover. By the time of its actual release, the system was underpowered and facing competition from Sega and Sony, who were releasing CD consoles of their own.

So what does a failing system with no game developers do? It becomes the unofficial console of hentai and "dating simulation" games (translation: the greatest system of all time). Does anyone out there have one of these beauties? And...err...what do you "play" on it?
