This Day in Gaming, April 18th

2001: THQ and Nickelodeon join forces in a multi-year agreement to produce games based upon the Nickelodeon franchises. I don't keep up much with this sector of the market, but I'm pretty sure most of their titles rhyme with Sponge Bob.

2005: EB and Gamestop announce that they will be merging. Just like Station from Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, two somewhat slimy, but oddly effective entities slam together to become one. Yes, that was petty off topic. Yes, that movie is still rocks.
