You know it's a slow news day when publishers start sending out emails about the clothes in a game.
Activision announced today that they penned a deal with John Malkovich's Uncle Kimono line of clothes to allow the duds to appear in The Movies. You can't make this stuff up.
Starting in January, players will be able to log on to the official site and use virtual credits earned from creating and uploading movies to the site to purchase virtual versions of the outfits.
Malkovich is quoted as saying that his collection "has resonance of late 1950’s California beach boys, some Palm Springs Rat Pack, a touch of lounge lizards, and a recollection of a Swiss banker who'’s been let go."” Which totally explains the Uncle Kimono name, totally.
