As much as I'd rather hear, "We're working our asses off to have NMH out next month, worldwide," I'm interested to see just what he has up his sleeve.

No hold on just a second Suda, you know damn well I don't have the funds for a 360 (well I assume he knows).

Guess I'll hope for a PC version, and come December when I do get a Wii, No More Heroes is quite high on my list.

I watched a new vid of No More Heroes and I noticed the blood and stuff is missing. I wonder if they changed it?

Since it seems that the characters now just go poof into a cloud of pixels or something instead of the early footage.

Yeah, he was probably pressured by Marvelous or Ubisoft or somebody to tone that down so it wouldn't push the same button. The thing with the pixelated health bar and powerups seem to fit into that theme though, so I'm not really bothered by it.

@Plunkett: Actually, Luke, since you're the one who talked to him, I'm curious: How is Suda's English? I noticed that Miziguchi's was pretty good, and I read somewhere that Miyamoto is fluent but prefers to speak in person through a translator to prevent vocal flubs, so I'm curious as to whether English knowledge is common to a lot of Japanese game designers.

@angry_poster: Kyuss was a stoner rock band active during the early 90s. A good portion of the band went on to form Queens of the Stone Age.

Kyuss, (Kai-uss)for those to young to rock in the early 90's was a guitar driven, psycho-rock band that turned into Queens of the Stone Age, minus the lead singer. They were seminal for much of the dirtier rock emerging today with a heavier, guitar lead sound that often played back upon itself, thus the 'stoner rock' dubbing they often recieve. They were amazing and if you don't own an album pick up "Blues For the Red Sun", you won't regret it.

damn suda 51 is cool, nmh is the one reason i might even think about buying the wii
