Further proof that Japanese airline JAL is run by 8 year-old children, the carrier will be rolling out three Tamagotchi jets for the month of August. With the Obon holidays, the month is prime vacation time, and the handheld pet sim is coming up on its tenth anniversary. Inside the plane, the headrest covers and paper cups depict the popular characters, and there's even an on-board Tamagotchi channel. Children get their requisite schwag as they damn well should.
