Publishers Team Up To Fight Crime

The ESA has joined forces with 28 other organisations, including the RIAA, MLB, Microsoft and Disney, to form the Copyright Alliance, which will fight copyright crime wherever it rears its diabolical head. Sadly, there's no capes, masks or trusty sidekicks involved. What there is, in abundance, is talk of copyrights:

Strong copyright laws are essential to protect the livelihoods of millions of artists and inventors. But just as importantly, strong copyright is important to all Americans by driving creativity and innovation in our economy.

Both good points. Though having Disney on their team might hurt their credibility just a smidge.
