    Major League Gaming announced today a deal with the USA Network to air seven one-hour video gaming competitions, according to the Associated Press.

    Now here's the weird thing, according to the story the televised gaming will feature top players from Halo 2 on the Xbox and Super Smash Bros. Melee on the GameCube. What? Can that be right?

    Why not some PC, PS2 and Xbox 360 competition? Very odd indeed.

    I know SSBM is a crazy popular game, but I think for first impressions the MLG should have stuck to shooters and RTS.
