In order to ease you into Final Fantasy's freakish world of big-headed blobs, Siliconera has posted a gallery of images of the characters you'll play in the upcoming remake. A young princess, an amnesiac, a blacksmith and a bookworm. Ingenious! Square Enix is somehow managing to cram all the gaming fantasy cliches onto the small DS cart.

Kidding aside, they are attractive if typically saccharine designs for what looks to be an attractive game. I'm looking forward to this only a smidge less than Final Fantasy VI finally coming to a damn portable. Florian Eckhardt
