A Polish artist created this Carpet Invaders art installation from 2004. Old geometric designs of Persian rugs are mashed with Space Invaders' blocky graphics. The interactive piece ran through a PS2, and an overhead projected beamed the game onto the floor down below. The installation was injected the installation with some pretentious meaning, but the work's coolness speaks for itself.
