    Sony Entitles Players to PS3 Points

    Achievements. The Xbox 360's scoring systems awards players points for completing various challenges in-game. This points are then tallied on players Gamer Cards. Sony has devised its own point system to encourage players, called not "achievements," but "entitlements." Dan Hsu at Electronic Gaming Monthly said Sony will be dishing out "entitlements" via the PlayStation 3. Combine the motion sensitive controller, the point system, the "new" controller, Sony has not only its Xbox 360 and Wii bases covered, but also its PlayStation 2 one. Though, calling something an "entitlement" doesn't exactly inspire players to strive for something. Brian Ashcraft
