Man, we're a touchy bunch. The Saturday Night Live bit on the Xbox 360 mocking gamers really raised same hackles, but it turns out that a lot of the writers and cast of the show are gamers themselves. According to an inside source (Yes, an inside SNL source. Gotta love that.) Inside the office where they write the news segments, there is a painting on the wall of MegaMan and another of Samus Aran. Other offices have Xbox and Gamecubes in them and some of the writers tote around PSPs.

Heck the writers have even put together sketches making fun of G4 (They must have killed it because it was too easy to mock) and one entitled Resident Evil: The Movie: The Musical.

So the attack on gamers was really just a sad cry for help. The next time you see Tina, give her a hug. Just be careful of that chin, it can really leave a mark.
