You knew it had to happen. World in Conflict was never going to remain a PC exclusive, not when there's money to be had on the 360. And so it shouldn't surprise you that Vivendi have decided to port the game on over to Microsoft's console, with the 360 version due alongside the PC one in September.
Think of what you can do with all that money you're going to be saving on PC upgrades. I've always wanted one of those monogrammed bathrobes. Think I'll spoil myself.

september is about the worst time for a 360 release...
When I heard about the game using FPS controls my first thought was actually "console port". All the better.
WOW, third parties are whores. really **m snorting sluts!!! I followed this game and I've seen it go from: PS3 -> Multi-platform -> PC -> this. I can see their next move will be to scrap it for everyone and move the WiC Mini-games Challenge.
Sweet, I will definitely be picking this game up this holiday season.
Scazza is clairvoyant!

@droptop:
for a FPS, this is RTS, some people like to switch it up so as not to tire out of the games
I have tried the beta. LOl couldnt figure out the controls. tried controlling it with the mouse and it didnt work and dried arrow keys didnt work. also seems kinda boring too me but maybe other people have better play experiences.
I can't decide myself: World in Conflict, Modern Warfare or Endwar? sigh...
@slomo788:
I was looking at the same issue and I finally settled. I'm playing a new game called
'Second Job"
It's just like Second Life, except you play it in the real world. Cool tip: you can take the money you make playing "Second Job" and use it to purchase all of the games you listed above-- plus many more!!
Okay, okay, I'm kidding. If you have to choose, I'm gonna say hold off until reviews come out. Corporate hype and even betas can't give perfect imprssions. Actually, since this is coming for 360, there should be a demo (hopefully).
I look forward to End War for it's voice command. If it pulls it off well, then I'm sold. This has my interest, but I'll wait for reviews. I doubt I'll get CoD4, there's too many modern warfare games already...
I thought this was already news... :O
Oh well, a promising game, it's a comfort to know I'll have the hardware to run it now! ^_^ *kicks junker of a computer*
that is the worst rendition of "the mushroom cloud" I've ever seen. even if that's the explosive by-product of a traditional bomb, the ground level blast radius remains unrendered.
as an artist, I demand more! it's not like there's a shortage of "big bomb" photos to research.
as far as i'm concerned, Massive can do no wrong. i LOVED the Ground Control games; all the awesome tactics ans strategy and battles of an RTS, but none of the BS resource farming.
i'll definitely be picking this one up.
oh, really, huh - I must have misread something before because I always thought this was for the 360, atleast now I can be certain.
