Despite being panned by mainstream critics, audiences flocked to cinemas this weekend to see Silent Hill. The Cristophe Gans directed horror flick pulled in a good $20 million during its opening weekend, surely tempting Konami, Sony, and TriStar to start sequel talk.
Unsurprisingly, the movie audience skewed to the "men under 25" demographic. It also beat out box office noobs American Dreamz and The Sentinel, and displaced last week's #1, Scary Movie 4. Go go, Silent Hill!
