Boy, Sega screwed up with their choice of Yuko Ogura (the space lass above with a giant QR code on her chest) as their new campaign girl. Known as "Yukorin," she has to be one of the most irritating celebs on Japanese TV. Ever. Listening to her earnest claims in her nasally baby voice that she is from the Korin Star can only be described as numbing. (No, she usually does not dress like this, even when claiming to be from outer space.)
Her selection as Sega campaign girl is even more disheartening when one considers the previous spokesperson, MEGUMI.

She's stacked, has a blue wig and looks like a rodent. But, MEGUMI actually comes across as reasonably bright, though somewhat sassy in the media. And she doesn't speak in a whiny voice or claim to be from outer space.
She definitely earned her street cred when she posed with an Xbox back when everyone in Japan hated it.
Sega, you're making a horrible mistake. I beg you to reconsider.
