Hey. Hey, Sega fans. Sonic is dying a slow, torturous death. Shut up, he is, you're deluding yourselves. He needs a replacement. Sega needs one - they need a AAA franchise they can hang their hat on.

That, or just another retro cash-in for the Virtual Console. Either way. So if you've got thoughts on the next classic series Sega should drudge up from the archives (not necessarily a bad thing - OutRun was cool), Sega's main site is actually running a poll asking you what you think. You can choose between:

• NiGHTS
• Streets of Rage
• Samba de Amigo
• Virtua Cop
• Flicky

• Last I checked NiGHTS was all over the competition, with 62% of the total vote. Shame. I'd much rather see another Samba de Amigo. It'd kick all kinds of ass on the Wii. Luke Plunkett
