These kind of comments make me glad that I decided not to buy a PS3. They also make me want to sell my PSP and get my Ps2 the hell out of my bedroom.

There are ways to sell the PS3 to the public, but ridiculous hyperbole is not one of them. The sooner Sony clues in to that fact, the sooner they'll be able to dig themselves out of this hole.

Well he does have a point, when it comes to "next-gen" comparing the PS3. Wii is "next-gen" due to gameplay, PS3 due to gameplay and top of the line hardware with a new game/video format etc. Xbox 360 aint "next-gen" at all, is it good? yes, fun? yes, and so forth, but it aint nothing new or great, PC does it better and has for years.

360 is xbox 1.5 really, a good xbox 1.5 don't get me wrong. But in the end all it offers that is "new/next gen" is/was HD, and that aint enough especially as PS3 delivers that even better.

No in terms of "next gen" there only is PS3 and Wii. I played xbox since release and live since beta, the only thing that was new and exciting for 360 was HD, and that wasn't sooo cool after a few weeks, Gears of war looked great for a few days then I and everyone else were back to the "waiting line" -

Though now MS is trying to create "Next-Gen PC Gaming", with Vista... but well just have to wait and see how that turns out.

Sweet sweet Jesus...Who let this freak escape from the Sony test labs? If PS3 were really next-NEXT-gen, I'm pretty sure that the graphics would actually be better than the 360 games. These Sony fanboys and overzealous PR guys make me embarrassed to say that I own a PS2, I guess my saving grace is the 360 I saved up for. Kinda makes me wonder if Chadwarden knows this fellow.

How is a multi-million dollar company run by jackasses like this. I want the PS3 to come in dead last and never make a profit. That way all these assholes get kicked to the curb and normal, sane people can run Sony.

Since when did comments like these ever affect sales? When I spend £450 on the console, it wont be based on the exaggerations of a Sony employee, it'll be based on the games I want to play on it.

Things like Home and LBP are what will sell the console, comments like these will have no effect, as much as people like to think they will, partly because 99.9% of the world will never even hear what he had to say.

This is, nearly to the letter, the exact same rhetoric Nintendo was peddling with the N64. I wonder if Sony will enjoy the same degree of completely undeserved success with PS3 as Nintendo did with that agonizingly underwhelming, stupefyingly overhyped shitwad of a console.
