According to Belgian site PlayerOne, SCEE have announced a...well, not a PS3 price-cut, but some kind of an attempt at a sweetener. The PS3 "Starter Pack", which is going on sale August 1. Seems for €599 you'll be able to get a 60GB PS3, two Sixaxis pads, MotorStorm and Resistance. €599 used to get you just a 60GB PS3, so that's some serious savings right there. Provided you were going to get both games and a second pad, of course. If not and you wanted a price cut, well, you're shit outta luck (and might be any way, since both pads will need replacing soon) None of this is confirmed, of course, even if the box art shown is very nice, so eat eat EAT that salt while we wait for official word.
