Just look at that craftsmanship. An ingenious guitar loving individual hand made this Famicon electric six-string from Japanese timber. The measurements of the modeled Nintendo Family Computer even match up with the retro console. Everything, including the controller, the d-pad and the buttons were made from wood. The name of this creation? The Family Comguitar. Beautiful.

Sweet, it'd be great if it would only make chiptune music, no matter what you'd hook it up to. Or even if you don't hook it up to anything.
Quite impressive, how well made it is. Even if it's kinda goofy looking.
It's amazing how pervasive videogames at large have become within our culture, their culture, your culture... everyone's culture. The influence of videogames can be found wherever the market has spread... which, by now, is pretty much everywhere.
Just like Radio and Television and so many past forms of entertainment, it came, it saw, it conquered. It's here to stay.
Though I dare say on the fan/enthusiast level, videogames have spawned much more stuff like "this"...
now thats what the japanese dude playing the mario bros. theme on youtube needs.

would be so much more impressive ^^
The guy from MegaDriver has an actual Mega Drive/ Genesis as the body of his guitar.
Very nice. Now THAT's love.
I have seen the MegaDriver guitar, but how good can it sound with plastic as the body compared to wood?
I want one. No, two.
It certainly strikes a chord!
I pick this one!
"The name of this creation? The Family Comguitar."
Which, according to Nintendo, the Japanese would promptly abbreviate to "FamiCom". Oh, wait...
@Pal:
Electric guitars don't rely as much on reverberations in the wood as quality electronics.
