Ask, and ye shall receive. Reader Ben was also bored, also realised Halloween was coming up and also decided to carve himself a game-related pumpkin. You may recognise the subject matter. Ben writes:
Hey all, I carved this 8-bit Mario pumpkin today and thought you all might like it...Yes, Ben, we like it. It's wonderful! Anyone care to take a crack at a Sonny Bonds (PQ1 Sonny, of course) or Hobbes pumpkin? TipsATkotakuDOTcom, thanks.

Who's Mario? lol
Aye, the founder of modern western political thought probably does deserve a pumpkin.
So we've graduated from cakes?
Waiting for the gaming related pumpkin cake
Hobbes FTW.
that is brilliant :D
Hobbes the tiger?
I sure hope I'm not the only one who knows who Sonny is. God I'm so old...
Better than I could ever hope to do
I was hoping that I was reading Pumpkin Mario, like a secret special Mario power-up in Mario Galaxy. I always fall for these things ...
This image brings up old phantom pains. I carved an 8-bit mario pumpkin 2 years ago, and the knife slipped. It went into my left pointer finger pretty far-- didn't hurt so much, but caused me to pass out and hit my head.
Took me a second to recognise who it was, at first I thought it was a badly made Pac-Man maze!
Can we see what it looks like in 2 weeks when it starts rotting and Mario begins to melt?
that's hell-o-impressive
I'd rather carve a lambda sign into a pumpkin (mostly 'cause it's easier) but that's pretty suh-weet anyway. :D
