Continuing the grand tradition of Japan getting much cooler video game console exclusives than the rest of the world, Sony is releasing a new PSP color in February. The Champagne Gold PlayStation Portable should be hitting store shelves on the 22nd of next month.
The blinged-out portable will be shipping both alone and as part of a "Monster Hunter Portable 2nd Hunters Pack", which includes the game, a custom case, a wriststrap, custom PSP skins, and more.

While normally I burn with jealousy when Japan gets shiny new console colors, I really think the PSP was made to be black. Anything else just seems unnatural to me, though that might be due to the rigorous aversion therapy I had to go through to keep myself from importing a pink one. I'm so weak. Michael Fahey
