There's been a lot of confusion surrounding just how succesful last week's PSP launch was. Which is strange, since we're not talking judgement call here, all you need is the sales number, which has been strangely absent from Sony.
The Dallas Morning News has a story that tries to dig into the launches success, but really just comes away with anecdotes. For instance, they know that Target didn't sell out of the PSP while Gamestop did. Come on Sony, hit us with those numbers. They were claiming sell-outs of the million prior to launch, so the longer it takes for the numbers to come in the more I'm going to doubt they hit their goal.
