IGN has word of what's coming to the Playstation Portable via the latest firmware update, version 3.30.
Although 3.3 is only out in Japan right now, it's expected to hit other regions soon.
In a nutshell the download adds support for displaying thumbnails for items that have been added to the RSS Channel, more support for PlayStation Network titles, the size of videos that can be played have been bumped up and the ability to show thumbnails for stuff saved in the video folder of your Memory Stick.
It sounds like the biggest change is that the PSP can now run video in three frame sizes: 720x480, 352x480 and 480x272. Meh.
