Well, UMD may very well be on the way out, but this is the sort of news that gets on-the-fence SHMUP aficionados like me to finally plunk down cash on the PSP. Quoth Adrenaline Vault:

Wow. Six Metal Slug games and wireless two-player? This absolutely sounds like a must buy. And hey, while you're dreaming of Metal Slug sugar plums dancing in your head, why not give this Flash version of Metal Slug a try? God knows, slicing apart soldier with your bayonet beats working this morning.
