The US got one, and Europe just got one, so in the interests of completism I decided to ask SCE Australia when we could expect to see a PSP price cut down here. Their response?
...we are evaluating the market and will make price adjustments in line with local business plans.
Uh...right. That's not what I was expecting. The PSP's rrp is currently AUD$349 (though it's usually found for less...EB are selling them for AUD$296). I'd have thought a drop to AUD$299 for the rrp was imminent, and probably necessary, but going by this response maybe I'm just wrong. Either that or premature - I'd say they can't hold off on this forever, and that we can expect an official announcement in the next month or two.
