Rumor has it that there's a number floating around out there for Sony's Playstation 3 launch sales. At that number, rumor has it, it pretty low. As in half the number Sony wanted to sell during their launch of the console powerhouse.

That would mean that Sony would have sold about 200,000 PS3s during their launch. I've been pushing Sony for a number to compare to Nintendo's 600,000 in Wii sales and Microsoft's 326,000 Xbox 360s sold last year during its launch. Brian Crecente
