No to be left out, the PS3 launched in Poland overnight to throngs of adoring customers. The traditional meaning of "throngs" having been slightly edited in the case of the Warsaw launch to mean "oh, about seven people, maybe a couple more".
Why the low turnout? PS3s are priced at 2000 Zlotys (USD$688), which isn't so hot:
It looks quite elegant, however, you could have a heart attack when you see the price.
Another midnight opening, another tiny turnout, but this one was probably expected: remember, the average Pole only clears around USD$7000 a year, so asking them to spend the equivalent of USD$690 on a PS3 would be a bit of a stretch for most.
