    PS2 Gets Cheaper In Japan (PS3 Still Expensive)

    On September 15th, the price of a PlayStation 2 will drop to 16,000 yen (US $140).The Charcoal Black (SCPH-77000CB) and the Ceramic White (SCPH-77000CW) will get the discount. Now this isn't a huge drop as the slim console currently retails for 17,800 yen (US $154) on Amazon Japan. Sony's obviously trying to clear out warehouse space for all those PLAYSTATION 3 machines they're gonna make.
