Not everyone can have such luxuries as lights, lamps and candles. And some like to game in complete darkness. For those, this is the controller for you. Battery-free, the controller is made from that ubiquitous glow-in-the-dark plastic. Sister site Gizmodo tossed us a press release, which explains what the hizzy heck this thing is:
How do we glow? The gamer holds the controller to the light (while they wait for their game to load)...turn off the lights and now they are Glow Gaming! It's that simple. We are the only company that can make all the parts of the controller glow in the dark. There are other controller companies that offer a "glow" controller, they use lights to achieve their glow effect. There are parts of the controller where it's not possible to put lights for effect. Our design allows you to see these parts in glow such as directional pads and push buttons. Now you can see the directional pad and push buttons in the dark. The glowing effect is so vivid you can see the controller from across the room!
Why do I feel as though this product's killer app isn't the gaming-in-the-dark angle, but the finding-it-in-the-dark one?
