    New Portable, But Not Crappy

    Korea's Gamepark is entering the handheld market with their new GP2x. Don't groan just yet. It's got two things going for it:

    1) It's not the Gizmondo.
    2) It's not the Gizmondo.

    The GP2x's design is stylish, while the button arrangement and even the logo are similar to the PSP's. The palm-sized portable supports DivX, MPEG, MP3, etc. Wait, there's more. Not only does it have TV capabilities, the unit is powered by Linux and promises an Open Source environment. Bring on the emulators.

    The GP2x drops this November for $179.90US.
