    Humans Only on PS3 Home

That's right kids, no weirdos allowed at Home on PS3 (well, visually anyway). Keeping up with appearances at Home means no cosplaying your avatars into most convention-festive costumes. As Peter Edwards, Home's executive producer, told Official Playstation Magazine:

It's not the Home ethic. If everyone's walking around dressed as orcs or stormtroopers or whatever, then you lose that welcoming, accessible element that means Mum, Dad and your sister might get involved as well. The idea is to keep it as accessible, mainstream and friendly as possible.

I'm not sure if mainstream is the right word for it, but making Sony's online virtual world does give it a premium aesthetic which is definitely what they are going for. And honestly, if they let you do just about anything, then you'd basically be playing Second Life.

It's strictly realistic avatars only for Sony's online space [Games Radar]
