MBF Today put together a short list of the games they are waiting for this year. What the hell, I'm still recovering from the games that his over Christmas. His list overlaps a lot with my list, through I don't think I would have thought to include Okami or City Life and he totally dropped the ball by not including Prey.

His full list: Will Wright's Spore (PC), Montecristo's City Life (PC) , Nintendo's Elektroplankton (DS), Top Spin 2 (Xbox 360), Black (Xbox), Sensible Soccer 2006 (PS2), Odama (GC), Okami (PS2), Age of Empires: Age of Kings (DS), Dead Rising (Xbox 360, Gears of War (Xbox 360).

It's funny, one of the first games I checked out in the Nintendo room at E3 was Age of Empires: Age of Kings for the DS. I'm a huge fan of the PC franchise and had high hopes for a similar RTS for the handheld. What I saw, albeit very briefly, appeared to be a typical turn based strategy title like Advance Wars, which just plain sucks. I love Advance Wars, but I don't need another version with different looking uinits.
