I seriously cannot stand advercrap. It may be a good PC, but having themes just sucks. Why would I want to plaster the fact that I pay £15 a month on an MMORPG on my machine? What if you decide to stop playing Wow? What happens then?! Argh...
/cue the hate.
Fantastic, now you can literally have the monkey ON YOUR BACK.
Anyone that can afford the package will find their pocket in a "world of pain" financally speaking of course.
@cynopt: hah!
@cynopt: LOL. Best comment ever.
It's almost been a year since I hung up my WoW hat, which was insanely hard to do because I had become one of those stereotypical hardcore raider douchebags. But I hung it up nonetheless thanks to a family medical crisis.
Almost every day for the last 11 months has had at least one moment where I've considered reinstalling the damn game. If nothing else, Bliz has done a good job making a MMO equivalent to premium crack.
Screen Grab Pro v1.4? Man you're behind. I got Screen Grab Ultimate v2.0 already.
If there were to make a 15.1" model, at a much lower price point (1500$ish - 2000$ish) and I'd consider it.
17" Laptops are far too large for my tastes, let alone one thats 4,500$.
Tempting, but I left Warcraft long ago. I'd like a gaming laptop as much as the next guy, but It seems like there's a premium for the WOW stuff that I'm frankly not interested in.
wheres me blood elf theme'd XPS lol jk why would i want this?
The sad thing is I know this one guy who will totally buy one as soon as it's available.
@Captiosus: @yashichi8bit:
Thank you, thank you; it was hanging there, and I took it.
My main hope is that anyone who does buy one catches themselves in a mirror one day and collapses into a fetal position as his own folly stares him dumbly in the face.
Or not, mainly I got to make a slightly cheap joke at my old addiction's expense. Huzzah!
SLI and dual drives in a lappy is pretty sweet though.
If i had the extra $5k to waste on this along with the extra 40 hours a week to waste on the game then I'd consider it. But alas, I've had to accept adult-hood and the responsibilities that come with it.
I hate responsibility.
Looks extremely over-the-top and over-specced. Looks lovely!
TRULY EPIC ITEMS
lawl
uhmmm you don't need dx10 cards in sli to run WoW...
I'd tap that
@Precise2282: Exactly.
You see, this whole "WoW" themed monster is extremely over-spec for WoW. A laptop less than a quarter of that price can already run WoW full tilt rather easily.
I could easily afford this if I started farming gold...
Hahah... lol at AGEIA PhysX card. WoW doesn't even use that damn thing.
I assume that these laptops have the very best graphics cards out there.
@Precise2282: @Guizzy: @Nullzero: Why would you buy a gaming computer only to play one game? If they made it so it was only suitable to play WoW, it would be out of date in no time at all. As of now, you will be fine for at least a year and will be able to play any DX10 games that come out.
Would you really have expected them to charge a premium for older components just to play one game?
If they made a Night Elf Mohawk labtop - then I might consider it!! Mr. T FTW!!!
