Don't let the poster fool you. Or the soap-opera-sounding name. The "Passion" concerts about to hit Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore are all (well...mostly) about the games.

Tunes from Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy XII, Xenosaga, Shadow of the Colossus and Super Mario Bros will feature, plus a few more tracks from some animes and Disney movies. Could do with some Zelda, but hey, them's the breaks.

What's more, "famous" composers Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono series, Xenogears) and Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics) will be making guest appearances, which would be fantastic news if I knew who the hell they were.

Tickets range from $25 for broke-ass students who want to sit up the back, to $65 for those who want to sit up the front and heckle the composers about why they're not playing any Metroid. Luke Plunkett
