2K Sports has launched the official web site for their upcoming Madden contender, the NFL-free All-Pro Football 2K8. On it they reveal a portion of the 240-plus players scheduled to appear in the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 game.
The list includes some famous retired pros like Troy Aikman, Dick Butkus, John Elway, Chuck Knoll, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Emmet Smith, and Jonny Unitas. It also features one very infamous former NFL star, murder suspect and former Hertz shill OJ Simpson. That's... interesting.
The game promises "next gen graphics in the form of "thousands of new player animations" and eye-candy like "sweat and steam, rabid fans in the stands and dynamic weather challenges." A handful of player previews are available for your critique.
Say, this reminds me. Why didn't anyone ever make a good Naked Gun game? Someone needs to get on that shit before Leslie Nielsen gives up the ghost.
