That's right, Australia. 1989's "classic" TMNT arcade game is finally available for 400 points. Go knock yourselves out. A word of warning, though: don't forget your rose-tinted glasses.

No Title for this story? No tags?
Rose Tinted Glasses = Ruby Quartz Visor? Hell yes.
400 what points?!
Wait, you only just got it? That sucks. It's still a fun game in my book, but Turtles in Time on the SNES is certainly the definitive Turtles game for me.
It showed up as free for me, so score one for us there at least.
Aw crap, I thought it was for Virtual Console...
There's an all-round nerd haven downtown in Adelaide (in Station Arcade) that has an old arcade console. I've been meaning to give it a go.
I love that place. Smells like heavily seasoned chips, and they don't mind me getting caught up in reading D&D supplementals.
@PhotoBoy: I know I'm wasting my breath here, but I'd still love to see Konami do the definitive version of Turtles In Time for Live Arcade - the four-player simultaneous mode and speech from the Arcade version, and the additional levels (such as the Technodrome!) and bosses (like Slash, Bebop and Rocksteady, and Shredder's robotic machine which you fight in a kind-of 2nd person view) from the SNES version. But who am I kidding? That will never happen. I can dream though. Let's face it - Pirate Bebop and Rocksteady are just TOO COOL.
I'd lvoe the arcade Turtles in Time. Even without the SNES upgrades as I can play that on my SNES :P
I know this game isn't the best TMNT game, but I remember spending a shit-ton of money at the arcade playing this game.
Ahh, old memories....
I just downloaded it for free in Japan. Is Japan getting a special deal, or will I only be able to play it for a limited time?
@Telly_Vision: I'd definitely pay for that as well, the arcade version did have the advantage of a slightly higher res and more Foot Soldiers on screen at once so an amalgum of the SNES and arcade would be awesome. Plus we'd get the Pizza Power rap over the end credits!
Its about bloody time.
I remember playing this at the arcade, and when the game selected the guy with the highest score for a reward at one of the cutscenes, the other players would give out a collective groan. Damn do I miss that.
"CLASSIC?"
" CLASSIC!? "
MORE LIKE MASTERPICE SODJGBOSDGSB >:O!!!!!
*nerdrage*
Germany got it, too, btw. It wasn't on the German XBLA before because somebody seems to have forgotten to do his homework and they didn't get clearance through the USK... *rolleyes*
It surely isn't as good as Turtles in Time, but the 4 player action was and still is cool. I spent LOTS of cash on this machine back in the day.
I have such fond memories of this one. Many hours and quarters were wasted between this and Final Fight back in the day in a dark Pizza Hut.
Lol, we get all this new stuff, and we STILL haven't got the actual Boom Boom rocket game... only some gamer pics...
