When Steam fell down last month, not much CS got played. How much? This much (Note: BF & Wolf numbers are from GameSpy servers only):

What's most interesting is that, for the 20 or so hours Steam was down, CS or DoD players didn't go play anything else, because the usage stats for the Battlefield games or Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory don't even budge. Obviously the hardcore fans of these games don't own or play the "competition".
Which begs the question: just what did all those CS junkies do for 20 hours? The mind boggles.
