Normally I wouldn't post someone's business card—or name card as they call them over here—but this is Iga's card. And it's bad ass. Clearly he likes working on Castlevania.
Check out Castlevania series composer (and constant Iga companion) Michiru Yamane's equally gorgeous card after the jump.

Anyone else experiencing a Patrick Bateman level of murderous business card envy? Or am I the only one polishing my axe?

and I thought I was clever by putting "Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap" on my business card.
I wish I had a kick ass buisness card like that, but first I need a job
My business cards say "Freelance Professional"
Castlevania probably has some of the most beautiful artwork i can possibly imagine, (just a little bit better than yoshitako amano's final fantasy stuff). BUT when i saw that some b*ttf*ckers decided to go with dirt cheap anime-ripoff artwork for both of the ds castlevania games, a little part of me died inside.
I guarantee that if the artwork had been better I would have bought a ds by now.
The composer one could pass as a work of art!
Hm... Igarashi's features art from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, but I don't recognize the art on Michiru Yamane's at all. Is it something Ayami Kojima did specifically for her card? They're both pretty damn cool, regardless.
The anime in the newer CV games angers me, too... Kojima's work is downright awesome, and that anime looks so generic.
dude, i totally need a business card with some kickass art like that.
don't know why, or what it'd say, but i just need it.
Ha - Iga just photoshopped his name onto a template for business cards that's used for trial lawyers.
I know you aren't going to post this as a comment, but I'd like to say, a site that has writers cool enough to make American Psycho references gets my views. Well done. And those are awesome name cards. I wonder what Mr. Amano's card looks like... You guys have to find out! Stalk Yoshitaka (?) Amano instead of that J. Allard guy for couple days!
Chef: that may be, but how do you explain Michiru-san's visually orgasmic work of art? Shame buisness cards are only wallet sized, these freakin rock.
Nice cards, very nice. If I could get my boss to spring for some fancy cards like that, I would not hesitate. But we have to use the vendor that the company has a deal with to do all of our promo material, business cards included.
to bad they put more time into their buisness card art then their latest games..
No phone number or e-mail? Clearly not a business card. A playing card, maybe?
Wow, just Wow... Michiru Yamane´s card is beautiful, I bet that work is custom made just for her. You know what??? I´m going Crayola on my business cards today...
That is fantastic. My company is too old school to ever do anything like that, but just... wow. I've designed a lot of business cards for people over the years but I never thought to do anything like that. I'm going to now!
llia c., im sure there's actual contact info on the back, and if im wrong i guess they're really only semi business cards, that still rock
i think those cards are too much. i'd go for something simpler.
Re: patrick bateman comments in the OP
TRY GETTING INTO DRACULA'S INVERTED CASTLE NOW!
Iga's card looks like a portrait of him, sans cross through the palm.
Some Japanese business cards have your name and title on the front, and your business contact information on the back.
In conjunction with "LostToys" I have to agree.
There is an entire Japanese etiquette to business cards, namely how you hand one to someone else. A business card must be held with both hands which then extend the card out to a person who then accepts the card with both hands.
Also, when giving the card, it is also appropriate to bow when doing so. How LOW you bow is determined by either how much respect or how much of a higher rank you have for the other person.
Like if a salesman was to give his card to someone he wants to sell stuff to, he'd bow DEEP. Whereas, let's say the exec of a company is giving someone his card, he would only bow slightly, maybe even just a short nod of the head.
However, what's ON the business card is also important as it tells the receiver a bit about you. The cards are also two sided where one side is the flashy part, and the other has the meat and potatoes (Address, job title, phone number, fax, etc.)
Now for IGA and Yamane-san, these cards show that they do Castlevania and they do it HARD! IGA's card shows him as Curse of Darkness' Dracula, and with full color showing his level of total awesomeness.
And Yamane-san's, what with being the composer and all, has some kicking custom art by Kojima-san showing her as a "Musical Goddess" complete with keyboard sash and angel wing hair.
When you get their business cards and look at them for the first time, ANYONE will realize, "Holy SHIT, these people are HARDCORE!"
And they ARE!
:D

@OtakuMan24: and then bow mad deep. those cards blow me away.
Damn, I knew IGA was hardcore, but.. damn!
It sucks that we never get the chance to go to any meetings/signings on the east coast. Hell, the only developer within driving distance of me is Epic, and I don't like Cliffy B that much. v_v
