    Sequels Are Boring

    You may have heard of John Riccitiello. He's EA's CEO. You know EA, right? Anyways, he's had some interesting things to say to the Wall Street Journal. Things like this:

    For the most part, the industry has been rinse-and-repeat. There's been lots of product that looked like last year's product, that looked a lot like the year before.
    That, from the CEO of Electronic Arts. Has he lost his mind? Or, worse, his marbles? Hardly. Dude's obviously just talking up EA's move to more original IP. Still...he could have chosen his words a little better. They're moving towards more fresh IP. They're not there yet.
