Raven Software, developers of Heretic, Jedi Knight II and Quake 4 are the ones working on id's new Wolfenstein game, according to a report on WISC-TV in Madison, Wisconsin. This fleshes out a story that appeared in February, which told of Raven devs teaming up with some UW-Madison students for some motion-capture work.
Only real news is that the game will be out in 2008, and one of the major characters will be a wacky, stiletto-heeled, cruel, "sensual, strong, arrogant woman". Carrie Coon (pictured), a recent theatre grad from UW-Madison, "played" said role and was...confused:
They had me kind of bust through doors with big guns and pretend I was an assassin being that didn't have a spine and club a body of something on the ground and sniff it. You know, it was one of the most bizarre audition experiences I've ever had in my life.
Um...righto, then!
