Kotaku
Child's Play is getting a lot of love today here on Kotaku (as well it should). Here we have a nice wireless PS2 Guitar Hero guitar for auction up on eBay to benefit Penny Arcade's up and coming charity. But this isn't any ordinary GH guitar, this one has been autographed by some of the biggest names to appear at PAX '07. The (mostly) complete list of autographers includes:

* Caitlin Glass (Winry from FMA)
* Gus Sorola, Geoff Ramsey, and Burnie Burns (Simmons, Grif, and Church from RvB)

The item just went up and bidding starts at a modest $25. There are nearly ten days left to bid and I'm sure this is an item that will fetch a nice high price. 100% of the proceeds will go to Child's Play. Just think, if you win it, you can use it to raise even more money for Child's Play at Funde Razor!

If it's the same one as in the picture, then that's a wireless PS2 Guitar Hero controller, to my knowledge. There are only two 360 guitar controllers, the latest one - the wireless Les Paul - and the wired Xplorer from the Guitar Hero II bundle.

Yes I just bid on this thinking it was a 360 controller but if you actually read the listing you will see that it says at the bottom that it is a PS2 controller. Oh well please out bid $100.88 or I guess it does got to a charity. :)
There also appears to be the signature of somone named "matt" who was very impressed that Will Wheaton was there.

There's a wired Les Paul that has the GH3 logo imprinted on the front. It's the one for demo displays but I'm totally gonna yank it.
It's a PS2 guitar.

I know a guy who built a Guitar Hero guitar out of a real Fender guitar for a Child's Play Auction. He has a website named Toolmonger that shows how he made it (You'll have to search for it though, it was a while back.)
