Seems not even if you're using a GameCube controller, which is capable of rumbling away to its little heart's content, will you get any feedback from an N64 VC game. Which seems like a strange decision. The GameCube got along just fine with two different controllers, one rumbling and one not, so the Wii should have easily done likewise.
So thanks, Nintendo. How the hell am I meant to catch any fish now?
