You know, I feel for Takashi Sensui. I really do. It can't be easy being GM of Xbox Japan. In fact, I'd say his job is largely awful. So you can't begrudge him for thinking there is always hope, even if it is a fool's hope:
I believe the PC gaming market in Japan has been under-developed. We hope to revitalize that market in Japan, and that will in turn create momentum for Xbox 360.
He's right on one thing: the PC market in Japan isn't what it could be. But on that other thing? About how GFW Live, which isn't even exactly popular in the West, will somehow magically drive moribund 360 sales in Japan? Yeah...no. Come on Mr. Sensui. You don't want to sound desperate.
