    Militia Leader, Radical Cleric, Gamer

Iraqi militia leader Muqtada al Sadr is an...interesting guy. With a colourful past, that's full of hating Americans and accusations of assassinations and ethnic cleansing. So it's interesting to note that, according to Time magazine, between firebrand speeches and political machinations, the radical cleric likes to get his game on.

...the most important man in Iraq is the other Shi'ite prince, Muqtada al-Sadr, who is 33 and the nominal leader of the most powerful militia in the country, the Mahdi Army. Al-Sadr is often called mercurial — he's supposedly a fervent video-game player — but the evidence says otherwise.
Hope that turns out to be true. Maybe then he and Dubya can square off in a game of Dr. J vs. Larry Bird One on One and just settle the whole mess mano-a-mano. Save us all a load of bother.
