Don't say they never asked. Over on Gamerscore, the Xbox Live Arcade Team have asked for submissions on everything from ideas for games you want to see appear on the service to how XBLA actually functions. If you'd like to give up complaining from the shadows and actually suggest something, now's your chance, though I can neither vouch for nor guarantee they'll actually listen.
Just in case they do, though: since boardgame conversions are all the rage, some Axis & Allies or Zombies would be fantastic.
