Kotaku
The latest PlayD is out. Don't know how long it's been out, though, since it feels like forever since the last one and I kind of lost track, but I guess bi-monthly mogazines are like that.
I was a little cold towards it at first, but I'm now starting to grow quite fond of the thing. As a concept it still feels a little strange - a downloadable .pdf magazine is...contradictory? - and the writing is not always up to scratch.
But the eye candy on show and indeed the overall design is top shelf, and is only getting better. And on the written word front this month there's a tidy feature on Relic and an interview with Kotaku alumni and 1UP rapscallion Luke Smith.
Best time to read PlayD? At work. It's a .pdf file, you can scroll through it at your desk and the boss will be none the wiser. Yeah. Stick it to the man.
