Capcom Europe boss Mark Beaumont isn't worried about the PS3's price. Indeed, when quizzed as to whether he thinks that's the cause of the console's sales woes, he says no, it most certainly is not. Rather, it's the games. Or, specifically, the lack of games.
I would say Sony's product portfolio has had more to do with holding them back than the price point of the hardware itself.Don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom. Drawing parallels with the PS2's early days, he thinks their fortunes will improve once some better games start appearing later this year and into 2008. Still. All this nay-saying, makes you wonder whether Sony pissed in Capcom's collective coffee last week.
